How do I join the wait list at Meraki ELC?
New families can join the wait list by clicking 'Register' above to create a My Family Lounge account. Once registered, you can submit a wait list application for either our Bayswater or Mooroolbark centre and select the days you'd ideally like.
What is My Family Lounge?
My Family Lounge is the secure online portal we use for wait list applications, enrolments and ongoing account management. It's where you'll register your family, complete enrolment forms, update your child's details, manage bookings and accept future offers of care.
I'm an existing family — how do I sign in?
Click 'Sign In' above and enter the email and password you set up when you first registered. If you've forgotten your password, use the 'Forgot password' link on the sign-in screen to reset it.
Is there a wait list fee?
There is no fee to join our wait list. You only pay once your child has been offered a place and you've accepted the enrolment.
How long is the wait list?
Wait times depend on your preferred centre, your child's age group and the days you've requested. Some rooms move quickly, others have longer waits — please contact the centre directly for an up-to-date estimate for your circumstances.
What happens after I submit a wait list application?
You'll receive a confirmation email from My Family Lounge. As places become available that match your preferences, our team will contact you with an offer. You'll then have a short window to accept and complete the formal enrolment.
What information do I need to enrol?
Once you accept an offer, you'll complete a full enrolment in My Family Lounge. You'll need each parent/guardian's contact and ID details, your CRN (Customer Reference Number) and your child's CRN from Services Australia, your child's Immunisation History Statement, and any medical, allergy, dietary, cultural or court order information.
Can I tour the centre before enrolling?
Absolutely — we encourage it. Tours are the best way to see the rooms, meet the educators and ask questions specific to your family. You can book a tour through our contact page.
How is the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) applied?
You'll need to register for CCS through your myGov / Centrelink account and confirm your enrolment with us via your CCS account. Once that's done, the subsidy is paid directly to the centre and discounted from your weekly fee. Our team will walk you through the steps if it's your first time.
What about Free Kinder funding?
Eligible four-year-old (and three-year-old) kindergarten children receive Free Kinder funding from the Victorian Government, which significantly reduces the cost of kinder days. Our team will let you know how this applies to your enrolment.
Can I change my child's days after enrolling?
Yes — subject to availability. Submit a change request through My Family Lounge or chat to the centre manager. We'll do our best to accommodate, especially as children move between rooms or as your family's needs change.
